Pioneering research into the future of in-car interaction.
Founded in Toronto, Pasturebuddy began with a simple observation: as vehicles become more connected, the driver's experience is often left behind. We started as a small research group focused on human-machine interface design and have grown into a leading voice on digital dashboards and in-car user experience systems across Canada.
Our journey has been driven by a commitment to structured, neutral analysis. From early studies on touchscreen ergonomics to current projects involving augmented reality displays and OTA interface updates, our work has consistently aimed to make technology serve the driver, not distract them.
To advance the safety, accessibility, and satisfaction of in-car digital experiences through rigorous research and analysis. We believe that a well-designed interface is invisible—it feels intuitive, responds naturally, and minimizes cognitive load.
Our mission extends to setting new standards in multilingual UI adaptation, voice assistant integration, and distraction mitigation research. We collaborate with industry partners and academic institutions in our usability testing labs to turn data into actionable insights that shape the next generation of vehicle interiors.
